Presenter: Patricia Vathis is the Environment and Ecology and Acting Science Advisor for Pennsylvania Department of Education, Division of Curriculum. She is a nationally recognized professional development leader and her Reading to Learn the Content Program has showed significant improvement in student learning as reported by teachers.
Audience: Grades 1-4 Teachers, Special Education Teachers, and Elementary Reading Specialists who want to use the concepts of living and nonliving systems.
