Science for a Day, or Two

Friday, Mar 08 @ 6:30 pm

What do you treasure about nature? Do you enjoy watching birds, counting stars, or maybe listening to frogs? Wherever your interests lie, there is a citizen science project for you! Citizen science is a partnership between scientists and the broader community. It allows the everyday person to participate in fun and exciting research projects, and to experience the natural world in a new way. Projects vary in topic, skill, and time. Some require as little as 10 minutes, others will benefit from as much time as you care to contribute. We will explore a variety of projects in order to give you an understanding of citizen science and to get you started on a project of your choosing. This indoor talk will take place at the TREC. All ages are welcome. No fee or registration is required.

Location: Tom Ridge Environmental Center

Time: 6:30pm until 8:00pm
